Michel Lafosse (also known as Michael Stuart or 'Prince Michael of Albany')

Self styled pretender to the Scottish throne, Michel Lafosse who was born in Belgium claims that he is related by blood to Bonnie Prince Charlie. While he has some supporters including some members of  Siol Nan Gaidhael, he is largely seen as a fraud.

The actual heir to the Stuart line is supposedly Duke Franz of Bavaria, however Lafosse's supporters believe that his undoubted strong interest in Scotland and Scottish independence make him a more realistic prospect. He is known to be a supporter of the republican SSP and sees himself as a future ambassador for Scotland rather than a ruler.
