Thomas Muir Lecture (27/05/2006)
Michael Russell is giving a lecture on Scottish Martyr Thomas Muir in the Moreig Hotel Annan Road Dumfries, at 3 pm on Saturday 27th May 06.
The meeting has been organised by Dumfries Constituency Association of the SNP as the first of what they hope will become an annual commemoration of Scotland's heroes in memory of that great nationalist Tom McCallum.

Talking Independence Evening (02/06/2006)
On Friday the 2nd of June, the Ochil View function suite, Fishcross, starting at 7.30pm (doors open 7pm) Roddy Oliphant (direct descendant of Robert the Bruce) will be talking about Robert the Bruce’s fight for independence. The talk will be followed by a 3 course meal. After dinner speech will be given by Scottish Parliamentary candidate for Ochil, Cllr Keith Brown. The evening launches a series of Talking Independence events organised locally, supported by Sauchie Branch SNP. All are welcome.
